LVN Clinical

Job Overview

Provide Licensed Vocational Nurse support in a pediatric and community-clinic setting. Manage electronic health-record messages and documentation, communicate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain exam-room and supply readiness, and help sustain provider workflow. Clinical duties may include vital signs, hearing and vision screening, medication and immunization administration, PPD placement and reading, EKGs, ear lavage, sterile-field support, equipment disinfection and sterilization, oxygen and suction, straight catheterization, IV support, standing-order work, waived testing, and phlebotomy when trained and authorized.

Requirements

• Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse license
• Graduate of a recognized practical or vocational nursing program
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification for healthcare providers
• Three years of ambulatory-care experience preferred
• Knowledge of pediatric or community-clinic nursing workflows preferred
• Ability to administer medications and immunizations and perform assigned clinical procedures within LVN scope
• Accurate electronic health-record documentation and interdisciplinary communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred
• Valid California driver's license, automobile, and insurance for occasional travel between sites
• Availability for the posted full-time Monday-through-Friday schedule
